Peru Seizes Shark Meat that Arrived from Ecuador

The Peruvian Police announced the seizure of eight tons of hammerhead and thresher shark from Ecuador in a customs warehouse in Zarumilla. The police, using isothermal cameras of vehicles, detected the shipment. Ministry of Production and the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Environmental Crimes of Peru say the seized merchandise will be distributed, through the Municipality of Zarumilla to the inhabitants of the area.
